Can we get a currency system to sort out bad luck that works retroactively?

I need a neckpiece and gloves. I’m so tired of rng. Everything even the guaranteed loot from the vault is rng.

I killed the world boss Aurostor on my 3 Druid alts. No skin.

I’m just so sick and tired of rng. How do you guys not lose your mind dealing with completely random chance loot? Because after about two months of this, I feel like I need to do something else. This is garbage. I’m just so sick of this gameplay loop. Waiting for nothing and rising and repeating.

I know this game loves its convaluted currencies. What’s one more?

If it helps I’ve long since learned to not really care that much about gear. You’ll be throwing it all away in a few months when 11.1 hits anyways.

It’s just what else is there to do? I do my delves. I do old raids. It’s all rng. I don’t want to kill Aurostor again. I don’t want to cap delves again and get 603 gear. I can’t use and unlock tier 8 vault gear that is barely an upgrade. I just want some form of progression that isn’t rng.

I dunno dude, what do you want to do? Get a goal for the season, and if you meet it then either do it again on an alt, find another goal, or play something else.

Not really.
Back in the day we’d be rolling a 6-sided dice. You could target specific loot pretty reliably.

These days we’re rolling two 12-sided dice just for a mediocre reward and once a week rolling 9 dice for an actual upgrade.

I have no idea. The delve track moves so slow. Getting upgades feels good, but the system just sucks for it.

It makes me wish for an outcome I can control. I want to do that ?? delve, but I need better gear to get past tier 10. I can’t get better gear because rng. I’m stuck in a loop. I’m a bear druid. All the skins I want are either removed or locked behind challenging content I can’t seem to do or heavy rng. It’s frustrating.

You could…craft a neckless and gloves which has no RNG?

I’ve tried to look for ones off the AH, but they are crazy expensive, barely upgrades over rng 603 gear.

I tried to do crafting, but the whole thing confused the hell outta me. There’s like specializations and knowledge levels, etc. I’d rather just have something like run 12 delves get a piece of tier 8 gear. Something. I don’t want to have to level up crafting to make a piece of gear that I will get playing eventually, even with this terrible rng.

The best gear you can craft isn’t going to be on the AH, it’s on work orders.

Go look at the available gear in work orders, find something you need, buy the materials, then either ask in Trade chat for someone to craft it for you or just put it out for public orders. You can’t guarantee highest quality in a public order, though.

It won’t be that expensive. I craft my own stuff and it’s maybe like 8k in materials to craft a 619 item.

There is a slight learning curve if you haven’t been keeping up to date on how it works, but good crafting gear is done through work orders not off the AH and you don’t have to level or do any crafting yourself.

You go to the work order person, select the slot you want, pick the item in that slot, and see the mats you need.

You need to provide the spark which I’m sure you have 6-7 by now. One of the items you provide is a missive (buy off the AH) that let’s you pick whatever stat combo you want.

You can increase the item level through your crests as well, that is a bit of a side step.

It may sound like too much work, but it’ll pay big dividends for you to spend 30 minutes learning it. Crafting IS the deterministic gearing source you’re looking for. Any slot, perfect stats, and can reach up to 636 item level with gilded crests.

And you don’t have to level or do any of the crafting yourself.
