It’d kinda fit for like, an outlaw rogue or something to use bucklers. But WoW doesn’t make the distinction between those and larger shields. Though with that class specifically idk how it’d work mechanically.
If we are talking about 4th tank spec for Shamans then sure, I would support that. You guys need all the help you can get. I don’t know how I feel about other classes though, especially druids, the favorite child of blizzard, they deserve NOTHING!

On topic: Blood DK should have been a shield spec that uses shields to mitigate damage and instead of being an absorption tank, going all in on leech.

The fact Evokers only use weapons as stat sticks means they should’ve been given Ranged Weapons, Glaives, and Daggers, to give another user of those weapons.

Death Knights would have been cool with shields but we’ve only seen them use shields in old sketches and artwork like the little booklet that Wotlk came with inside the box. I guess it makes sense they could use 2hs to tank or dual wield I guess if you really wanted to as it made them unique at the time.
It’s probably more likely that shaman will use shields in a new tank spec one day or maybe Spellbreakers if they ever get made.

maybe they’re a buff class
maybe they can only use guns and crossbows but duel wield them - and somehow make that make sense
Maybe they could focus on holy and arcane damage and be a priestess of elune type thing.
and obviously any new ranged weapon class/spec wouldn’t use pets since that’s the hunters core gimmick.
2 classes using the same weapon type doesn’t mean they’re the same class, we have pallys, warriors, and DKs all using 2h weapons yet they’re all unique.
