Can we get 400% experience buff?

Retail tourists are a cancer

Wouldnā€™t be as ā€˜hardā€™ core anymore.

Why do people play Vanilla if they donā€™t want to enjoy the journey. That was the game for the majority of players.

If all you care about is max level thereā€™s only every other version of WoW.

i wish these were just alts trolling :expressionless:

The journey is kinda really really boring to me to be honest. Some zones are kind of fun, but most of this was only interesting to me back in 2009 when I had never played an mmorpg. I get the appeal of enjoying the journey but I donā€™t get that out of Classic at all anymore. I canā€™t just erase my memory or pretend like itā€™s all new again.

All the zones, quests, and more look like something from an older ps1 or ps2 game. The quests are pretty basic stuff and even more tedious than the most boring retail quests. And the classic class design is a bit nonsensical. Iā€™d love to enjoy it and get that nostalgic feeling I guess I had in Wrath but itā€™s pretty hard to go back. I just donā€™t get that at all from these older zones and dungeons.

Thereā€™s a good reason from Cata onward you got most of your class kit early on, so you could realize the basics and have full access to that classes rotation. Then you pick it up and learn it early on without wild crazy or weird builds you had to use to level that werenā€™t how youā€™d normally play later on.

Now I DO like that buffs matter, bandages, flasks, potions, scrolls, professions and more while leveling. The game was balanced around this with it in mind and thatā€™s why weā€™re more underpowered while leveling. Weā€™re meant to slow down and craft things, get help from others at times, and so on, but itā€™s still doable solo which is cool. On top of this crafted gear and weapons, powerful drops in the world, and more are more exciting as well. Dungeon gear is actually very useful to help you progress and noticeable which is fun. Retail has definitely lost this feeling and enjoyment and I get that.

I canā€™t speak to pvp though as I have zero clue what the meta is in Classic pvp or how that even works. Looks like you just go around ganking people nonstop though and have little battles in towns usually, but yeah I donā€™t get it. I guess you grind for ranks for vanity? Perhaps thatā€™s a fun thing to do and show off idk. I do know it can fun to mess around casually in pvp but thatā€™s it.

Then why are you playing Vanilla?

Go play SoD, or Cata, or Retail.

Why not just start at 60 and full T3. Clearly, you donā€™t want to actually play the game and you just want a raiding simulator.

Yeah true - id like to play a more arcade-y version of hc

1-60 is more enjoyable than life at 60.

Even adding xp boosts in SoD was a mistake imo.

I can never find people to play with on classic. The playerbase seems very cliquey.

I just want to enjoy some PvP man but it takes me like a month or two to hit 60.
