Why don’t you play era if you want no changes so bad? Why do you need both versions all to yourself? We’re in classic + and we are making improvements to it. The grindy, boring leveling is what needs the most immediate attention.

x100000 they are already making changes that weren’t in classic. This is indeed a testing ground for classic+. (Dual spec, debuff limit, boosting nerf, etc.)

Im not opposed to reasonable changes. This is unreasonable. The boost was to get people into TBC at the time of TBC. Not boost you to Naxx and all the current content. Vanilla is the “now” not TBC, and it should be handled as such. When it’s closer to launch and Vanilla has ran it’s course? Go for it. I just hope Blizzard will give us a longer prepatch for the new races.
So because you think its unreasonable? I think people who enjoy trying to do a 240 hour leveling grind in 3 weeks are unreasonable. The boost is highly reasonable when you have a successful career and girlfriend.

It’s reasonable when the content calls for it. TBC isn’t in 3 weeks. You have an entire year to hit 60 and prepare. A month with boost is more time than you need to step into TBC.
Kind of crazy that you seem to be in the minority here. Multiple people here seem fine with the boost and xp increase lol. Maybe you aren’t as in touch with what people want as you think you are. There is a reason that every version of wow after classic has had some experience boost in it, because no one wants to level in archaic gameplay. This game will die if the boost or lvl increase aren’t added.

Again, as I said very simply, I’d like to do classic content. But a vocal minority like you wants to gate keep content behind a rapid release cycle that normal people don’t have time for.

Maladath? Oceanic servers in Classic have a history of tanking. Or were you completely unaware of it? The US server is doing just fine.

And you know this how exactly? You don’t have the time to invest after all. Layers are currently deployed. You have to actually play the game to see people.
You can login and get a feel playing even 15 mins. Plus there is no login queues lol. This will be dead in 3 months and you will be crying for a transfer to Era. Blizzard fumbled this release so hard and everyone knows it.
Blizzard stated they’d be opening more servers to address login queues. They did the same for Cataclysm on launch. This is why you are an awful demographic to make decisions for. Layers alleviate overwhelming numbers. You can go from a near empty layer to being dumped into one with people up to your arm pits at the drop of a hat. Try playing the game.
They didn’t make new servers to address the queues. There wasn’t enough demand lol. Hence why it’s dead on arrival. Zones are dead and you won’t see anyone. I was leveling in Durotar yesterday (Troll & Orc starting zone) and I saw maybe 5 people in the hour I had to play. No one is playing this. I had friends who played classic and they didn’t know fresh rerelease was happening and when I told them they said they didn’t want to do the monotonous leveling grind again and will just wait for TBC, but probably won’t play then because it will be too late. Blizzard really needs to fix this issue to spark back up interest in this dying game.
I was on my Paladin today. This is day two i couldnt tag a single Gnoll mob in Westfall. Everywhere you found defias was a slaughterhouse. Jangalode had more alliance there than defias spawns, and this was a single layer.
Swapped to my shaman, and there were plenty of people on the layer i was for being an empty one until i was dumped into a fuller one.

If everybody boosted, today, it would be dead in 1-2 months. 60’s boring once you attain everything.

Hah an actual troll. Nightslayer has had 10+ layers since launch even late at night. Hardly dead.
