Flying around all of Azshara with the addon NPC Hider, to show only player dots on my minimap, nothing but a sea of enemy players, haven’t seen a single Alliance character at all…
The Alliance base is empty… Flying over the Horde base it’s packed!
Then I remembered the /who command… This is what I see: _https://i.imgur.com/OWtwnn4.png
smh
Yeah force flag people so it’s balanced!
I mean how else can you even…
crossrealm. Alot of the horde I see are from various realms, so they need to amp up the same for Alliance realms.
It’s a common thing across all realms.
But hey, people cried about dedicated pvp servers, now people aren’t happy with optional pvp across all servers.
Maybe the pvp servers weren’t such a bad idea?

I’m still convinced wm was created to end pvp happened qq threads.

apparently not if you’re horde and play on any one of these realms:

here is a list of horde that i have seen in the past 10 or so min while flying around…
Sargeras seems get sharded/crz’d with so many realms that are known to be horde dominated. (illidan, mal’ganis, blood furnace, etc) Just look at that plethora of realms on the Horde’s side.
I’ve never heard about an addon that blocks NPCS from Track Humanoid. Thank you so much!
Warmode doesn’t care about server. You get randonly thrown in with people from other servers. Doesn’t matter what faction they’re on.

yeah, definately an essential addon if you play a hunter, feral, or use food to track humanoids… as it’s annoying and detrimental in pvp areas to have enemy players obscured by a plethora of irrelevant npc dots, especially in a city.
wish blizzard would adapt it natively into the game apart of the hunter tracking options.
wish they’d do that for sargeras alliance… as it’s more like Horde get thrown in randomly and combined with people from other servers, while on sargeras, it’s rare to see anyone from a different server.
Even just simply checking the list of realms of horde players that I showed in the screenshot of the horde players i’ve detected, if you use a website such as realm pop, you’d see that pretty much 90% (if not 100%) are horde dominated realms. So clearly there’s a CRZ/faction imbalance going on for Sargeras
Which makes sense, because most horde are on horde dominated realms, so of course those realms will be represented more.
So why does it seem like the pittance of Alliance players that are in war mode are scattered throughout 40 shards completely full to the brim with hord? Rather than the system trying to make one evenly populated shard?
We told them countless times to not get rid of pvp servers. They failed not us players.
that’s the thing, they should be matched up with alliance dominated realms. but they aren’t.
i.e. five horde dominated realms, crz’d with five alliance dominated realms.
not ten horde dominated realms crz’d with one alliance dominated realm, which seems to be the case with Sargeras as i’ve shown. The only Alliance dominated realm represented in the list of countless other horde dominated realms present in this shard.
They aren’t, they’re all clumped together. If I go to Mechagon, alone, with War Mode on, I generally run into multiple 30-40 man Alliance gank squads smothering the island. If I join a large Horde rare-farming group, it shunts me to that group’s shard instead, and there are barely any Alliance there.
What people are doing is shard-hopping by joining large groups of their faction. It’s extremely common practice.
Uh… they got rid of pvp servers. They listened. Now I’d imagine their faces are in their palms.
If this is the case, Blizzard needs to remedy this by phasing the raid out of the shard if they create an imbalance by inviting people/forming a raid.
It’s an obvious simple and easy solution/fix…
i.e. if there’s 100 horde players and 100 alliance players in a shard… and an alliance player forms a raid and create an imbalance of 140+ alliance players and there’s only 100 horde players, then simply phase out the raid to a new shard or send them to another shard where a horde raid formed so it’s 140 vs 140…
essentially, the sharding/faction balance just needs to maintain a threshold of players on each side within a margin of error… such as keeping it less than or equal to 20 from eachother… so for example if there’s 120 horde against 100 alliance, then that’s fine… but as soon as it turns 121 against 100, then start booting out one or more of the extra 21 to maintain balance.
What about random don’t you understand?
That would be a question for the devs. I wouldn’t have access to that kind of information.
PvP servers were massively imbalanced, too.
Thanks for the information on the addon, that’s something l’ve had an issue with lol.
