Welcome to WoW since patch 4.3, which introduced LFR. The ultimate expression of “I want loot with 0 effort”. Hence why when a boss comes along that requires the bare minimum of personal responsibility (Lei Shen, N’zoth etc) the forums erupt in outrage for said boss to be nerfed to oblivion.
I mean what is so hard about pressing an extra action button and not doing anything for roughly four seconds so you don’t get mind controlled? Oh yeah, the ‘not do anything’ part.
You can argue, but we all know, that if set and bis trinkets drop in M+ tomorrow raid will be empty.
Why you argue if you know this?
I mean… m+ already drops bis trinkets
You might not understand how strong M+ gear is already when someone like me that is 5/8M has most of its gear from M+ and also it’s not like M+ has no bis gear. Crafted gear is also mostly from M+ as crests can’t really be capped with raiding.

One of my BiS trinkets is the Ara-kara sacbrood trinket from Ara-kara. Which is a dungeon.
Does M+ drop set at the end?
Wanna tell that to city of echoes, grim batol or mists.
With the Catalyst that argument is still pretty tame.
All my alts have 4p and they never did the raid or m+.
Hell, I had 4p week 3 or 4. Raid barely drops sets really, getting your set is more likely in the vault and whatnot even if you raid

I can’t speak for anyone but myself but I’m not in the rat race. I spent the first month leveling alts. Season is still fresh give it time
Anytime a chest, legs, helm, shoulder or gloves drop. You take em to the cata amd boom tier.

I stand corrected, bis trinkets drop from raid, bis rings and back drop from raid.

Not really a strawman. You get a piece of armor that can have the tier set from mythic + then dump it into the cataclyst. Given you have the charges to do it.
Remove set drop from raid then, so everyone uses catalyst.
