One of the devs mains disc priest, there’s no other logical explanation to how it has gone un-nerfed for 4 phases now.
the mere fact that priests can just play one button and get top “healing” is just blatantly bad game design.
It’s funny because bubble/absorb spam has been broken OP at least 4 other times in the game’s history
the devs aren’t learning from their own game’s history and thus we’re seeing bubble spam being OP yet again
It basically means, they have no one working on healing. so they just decided to implement something that they have done before because there is no one to try and invent a new style of healing. So what is easiest? Just repeat the past.

Priest is literally GAPPING healers and has two ways to do it.
Paladin had MC for a WEEK to do top healing as a tank healer then gets nerfed, they have one spec and playsytle to do so. Priests have two and hardly burn mana. Like what the hell is this unbalanced garbage?
Not super familiar with these plots - what’s the ‘score’ and how is it calculated the best I could find on warcraftlogs documentation is related to parse but not sure how that is calculated for a spec/class.
Also how can I show which ability is contributing to it?
I’ve picked the 5 pest healing priest logs, and if it somewhat vanished white, that was an absorb, otherwise you could also translate it into english.
You will notice a trend of priests just not having any overheal at all compared to every other healer in the game which will have at least 60%+ overheal, which translate to wasted mana.
Priests overheal is 25% at best which just further shows how BROKEN this healing balance currently is and will be even worse in Naxx.

Priests need to get nerfed hard on that rune that allows for buffed PWS, this isn’t healthy at all to play as any other healer nor for the game.
Literally just give PWS its 4 second cooldown back

id even say 3 second cool down at this point or a big hit to the spell coefficient so they don’t have permanent 5k shields on the whole raid. Is there anyone even glancing at healing at blizzard? its like they just had a dev make the tier sets and runes and however healing turned out as a result was fine by them.
