Raid trash is boring and its only made worse by things like no rep rewards or like this tier no BoEs, no snacks and no movies. Its just annoying to be annoying…
I would love to chill and hangout with them; get a coffee or watch a movie together so it wouldn’t be as boring as we chill with the raid trash. We could have some small talks, talk about our family and life and maybe even talk about deeper stuff.

As long as the raid trash can be pulled cleanly, unlike the recent raid trash that loves to get stuck and evade and snap, I don’t mind raid trash.
Just let me pull it all, run around a corner and have it all walk to me, group up and let the raid watch their numbers fly.
Their there to give the raid more meat. If you ran from boss to boss players would be complaining that they were too short. Seen mobs more difficult than raid bosses.

Being run over by sassy goblins this tier was def an experience. Wonder if there will be more raids with gimmicks like this in the future
Every time I do raid finder for vexie I wait to see who gets splattered when she spawns. It’s a right of passage at this point. We’re all that roadkill at one point.

After my AotC I focused only on running keys but I very much miss the joy of watching my distracted guildmates being obliterated because they forgot about that gimmick (again)
Raid trash is a waste of time, always has been.
Nobody has ever been doing a raid and said, “Hey, you know what would make this raid a lot more fun? If it had way more TRASH.”
It’s called “trash” for a reason.

Didn’t people complain about lack of trash in Trial of the Crusader?
I don’t remember I admit, but that raid had much more to criticise than a lack of trash.
The condescending messages that came up on screen telling you what to do (the first raid ever to do so), the fact the entire place was unplanned filler that ended up causing power creep due to adding a fourth tier…
I can live with trash as long as it drops loot. That way it feels good when I come back to clear the place solo later and see the gold flow in, like with Karazhan.
I believe it was WoD that kicked off this tendency for most trash not dropping anything.

No.
People complained that Trial of the Crusader was short and boring.
People complained about Garrosh.
People complained that the loot system was overcomplicated.
People complained that it cut into Ulduar. (Ulduar was a VERY short raid tier. It was out less than 4 months when ToC replaced it.)
Nobody ever zoned in to Trial of the Crusader and said, “Gosh, this raid would be GREAT if only it had a ton of TRASH.”

Also a very minor point that probably only I care about is the little plot hole it causes at the end. When you kill Anub’arak in the 5 man he says “never thought I’d be free of him…” only for him to suddenly be “alive” and back in the LK’s service with no explanation.
Then again that pales compared to the awful lore mess the recycling of Naxx caused…

His appearance in the raid afterwards was because of the bad reaction to him being a 5-man boss when the expansion launched.
People were like, “wait… that… that was ANUBARAK. And we just beat him? As a 5-man boss??”
Sad part is that makes sense.
I mean it makes sense people would go pear shaped over it, not that it’s a justified response.
oo oo replace coffee with tea, and I would love to chill! Tea is the superior beverage.
