Isn’t the flag system the downvote system?
A 1:3 ratio can work assuming a noise to verbiage ratio that is worth reading.

Not really, no.
It has the purpose that we all expect, but the best way is to ignore a troublesome user. Maybe one day we’ll finally be able to ignore their entire account vs 1:60 retail and 1:50 classic at a time.
110 reverse Uno cards isn’t my idea of a well run message board.
Since Warbands won’t have an opt out option; I believe Blizzard will make it so you can ignore an entire accounts warband.
That sounds like a good idea.
Currently, account ignore works in-game, I think. However, people still have the 110 option here which can be a pain.

Wasn’t the reason it was removed was because it would also flag the posts for the mods to look at and people were essentially abusing it?

I don’t think it’s that more so than I have a fever which has lessened my inhibitions today.
I’ve been a bit of a donkey . Sorry about that. I do think that downvotes would be a better way of showing overall opinions on topics here.
That being said, I don’t see it coming back. Even YouTube hides them. I believe it’s to foster a more positive atmosphere, or something like that.

personally I think it’s better than flagging since it involves blizzard having to look into the flagged and see if it’s people getting butthurt on the comment or just an unpopular opinion. Saying that a account wide down vote rather than per toon would be significantly better

Flagging is only intended for code of conduct violations. People should keep that in mind, but many do not.

I mean just look at this thread. People already flag the post because they didnt like what the OP has said. There is nothing against CoC on his post at all. Now blizz has to look into the post and remove the flag which is extra man power that they can move away from
