I’d sacrifice the entire wow story and all other content for a wow pvp game that doesn’t involve grinding gear/character power…

There would be a vendor with everything on it, rated pvp and a dueling area/wpvp area. That’s all I need.

This is where I love Riot’s writing for bad guys. They aren’t giant Gods (typically) but they are fairly complex enjoyable characters. I think it’s important to know that you don’t need giant Gods who look bad a in order to have a good villain.

It used to be a big meme that the baddies of WoW loved insulting our mortality, but I think the problem goes even deeper than that. Literally everyone who ever called us “mortal” has amounted to little more than some giant gigachad-looking monster who talks slow, thinks he’s 1,000% more interesting than he actually is, and has the personality of a brick.

WoW’s got a villain problem. A very big villain problem, and part of that problem is that they’re all terribly boring. Forcing the writers to come up with something beyond some random eldritch horror that considers us to be ants until we inevitably kick their face in during the final raid tier would at least go part of the way towards fixing the problem.

I have to agree. Like, it wasn’t so bad before Shadowlands, but now we’re here, killing “Immortal” souls…it just sounds ridiculous that everyone is calling me a Mortal. The words “mortal” and “immortal” have really lost all meaning in this setting. You have “mortals” living forever and “immortals” dying cause some forest pixies want anima. It’s ridiculous.

You can die. Therefore you’re mortal. Being rezzed doesn’t make you immortal. It means someone rezzed you.

What if I don’t get rezzed? What if I just walk back to my corpse as a ghost and decide to re-animate said corpse?

Also, aren’t we currently in the afterlife of WoW in the Shadowlands? Are we double diet dead when we die here?
