They sit there 24/7 and buy the patterns for 1 gold and resell them for like 28gold on the auction house. At least make the patterns soul bound. It will solve the issue. I think getting rid of bots is more important then keeping a silly vendor classic.

Limited supply vendors has been one of my only angers at this game. How Blizzard EVER thought this was a decent idea is insane to me.

this is a people problem and not a blizzard problem…
Seems like if the recipe didn’t have limited availability, people would also stop using bots to buy them. It’s arguably much easier to change a wee bit of code than to change people’s behavior.
Got the Mooncloth Bag recipe, and never looked back at Qia for the Runecloth bags, which don’t really sell that well anymore. Wasn’t worth the time investment any longer.
