I don’t think people mean every faction should be universally racist, which seems to be how it is being taken. There is ample room for old grudges to fester, though. If we’re going to write everyone as human analogs, might as well include the spicy parts.
Unless we are happy with oatmeal for every meal. I don’t like unflavored oatmeal that much, personally.
