Can Volley Have A Gun Theme?

This is absolutely the most minor thing.

But, can Volley for gun users such as myself have a gun theme? I’m blasting arrows out of a firearm. It makes no sense.

A bullet being fired up into the air from a gun would reach maximum velocity when fired before it begins its deceleration to zero velocity. The resulting fall would reach a terminal velocity of about 30 mph, which would hurt but is more like dropping rocks on your enemy, and would certainly be non-lethal.

Conclusion: you’re much better off with the magical arrows from the current Volley mechanic.

I mean sure. Make it a cluster bomb or something. I ain’t shooting arrows out of a gun.

Like I said it’s real minor but it’s for immersion, or something along those lines.

dude logic like that doesnt really belong in a video game

Well, not to mention that it would be almost impossible to calculate the right trajectory to get the bullet to hit in the target area

You want to shoot a cluster munition out of your gun but think arrows break your immersion…lol

I’m a talking fox who can wiggle her fingers and conjure demons from another dimension.

To be fair, I don’t think shooting arrows would be any easier? Hell. It’s a fantasy game, ain’t putting ballistics into question. Legolas wouldn’t do that.

Well, if thats the case then I guess the goblin can shoot a volley of arrows out of his magical gun without breaking immersion

To be fair if anyone can figure out a way to make that happen it’s a goblin.

Are you sure your math is right? 30 mph seems awfully slow for a small bullet shaped object, considering terminal velocity for a skydiver in a flat position (who would have significantly more drag) is about 120 mph.

A quick google search returns 136 mph (give or take) for a falling bullet. That’s more than enough to be lethal considering the most likely point of impact is the top of the skull.
