Especially since we’re basically forced to leave one stable slot open to tame and abandon animals out in the world to learn new abilities for the pets we’ve already got.
Meaning I’d have to get rid of one of my three pets, or level one again from scratch, which I really don’t want to do.
I’ve got a young pridewing (wyvern) that was new in SoD, so of course I want to keep him. He’s mostly my PvE pet, but I am debating stabling him for now for a cat, because Wind Serpents just aren’t as strong right now.
And for my second pet slot, either a Carrion Bird or Gorilla for solo-clearing the fastest, both can hold AoE aggro reasonably well.
So, that leaves me with one stable slot left. I really want to get a nice cat for PvP, but I’d have to abandon one of my pets to pick up new skills in future phases.
Can us Hunters have a 4th stable slot? Maybe have it learned from a book like with Aspect of the Viper?
I’m not asking for the 100+ slots we’ve got in Retail, I just one, one more slot so I can have a PvP pet, a PvE pet, and a general world/solo pet.
Or if that’s unfeasible, I’d just want a solid answer for future phases, maybe I’ll just have to cut my losses and free up one of my beloved pets when the time comes.
It just sucks leveling another pet to 40+ from 25, like I’d have to do with another pridewing should I want one back after learning the next rankings of abilities.
