Apparently my friend got one of his accounts banned for selling carries for gold… id like to do it again since its towards the end of season and was pretty sure GOLD carries werent bannable or did blizzard randomly decide to start banning for that.
you’ll get banned only 6 months tho

Didnt they just say last season you could do gold carries just not advertise in LFG??
I coulda sworn it was ok before, as long as no adver or real world trading
Im pretty sure you can as long as it’s for in game gold only but honestly I would ticket a GM and double check unless anyone has some blue text saying its okay.

I’m sure your friend did more then just gold carries if he got banned. Possibly something he said to another player or posted in LFG.

Selling a carry for ingame gold is a service, just like selling an enchant or item. Last time I checked they said it was ok, but like others said send a ticket in and get an O-K from a mod
Mythic+ and Uldir carries can be sold for gold with no punishment so I would assume arena carries can be sold for in game currency only

Your friend is lying. You have ALWAYS been able todo carries for gold. There has never been any issue. The issue has always been players either don’t play their toon (account sharing) or they are paying with actual money. Trading gold for in game stuff of any type is totally fine.
In-game services for in-game currency. 100% fine.
Rofls don’t ticket blizz asking if something is okay, they’ll probably say no and ban you for attempting…
Know a guy who had the name “Bigdickdps” on a character and ticketed blizz asking if it was okay. They granted a 24 hour ban. Lulz

Yeah I am pretty sure you will get a GM that knows nothing about the game. Who knows what they will do.
