I am looking at buying a laptop as a secondary screen for my set up…I really like to have a laptop I can take with me if I am away from my house for a period of time…I know the specs are on they low end but could this work just for checking my AH and do some pet battles …
2022 Newest Acer Aspire 5 Slim Laptop, 15.6" Full HD IPS, AMD Ryzen 3 3350U Quad-Core Processor, 20 GB DDR4 RAM, 1 TB SSD…Radeon™ Vega 6 Graphics.
I won’t be doing any heavy action in the game like raids or that…just something I can put around in game…thanks all for any input…
I would spend $170 more and get this one unless there’s a specific reason you want the one above. I think the one you chose will be able to pet battle, fish, and do AH stuff, but that’s it. The one I linked has a graphics chip for games, and a low-power intel chip for everything else. It can also play other games very well. It could use another SSD though, so the price increases there also.
I have looked at that one too…the small SSD and lower memory I didn’t like though …the one I link mostly would be used too web surf for reading news and things like that while I am at home…I like the larger SSD on first one and more ram…
first laptop would probably overheat when running games… even WoW
the second laptop is a gaming laptop with adequate cooling to run games
And the worst gpu you can afford, won’t even bottleneck with 144hz.
