8.2 seems rather underwhelming, the good bits are too little too late, the bad bits are added frustration to an already frustrating game.
To me, it just seems like this expansion is a total lost cause, not entirely unlike WoD. What do you think?

Pretty much the way to save this expansion is to scrap it and move on to 9.0.

Not happening. Horde players came to the forum screaming and crying about quitting the game if they even had to disobey her in a few quests, so Blizzard added in for the first time ever an option for players. Imagine if she actually died. lol

The loud minority on the forums hold very little say over the actual story in game.

Too many angry, loud people who have 1000 different issues with the game that at this point will never see implemented so the question is rather subjective.
Not to say the expansion is without flaws, and can be perfect in a future patch BUT the forums aren’t a good gauge on the games health.
They moaned and groaned about MOP and now the consensus is that it’s a great expansion… people moaned and groaned about Legion and now the consensus is that it’s a great expansion. See the trend…
(And before someone replies that they liked X or Y expansion from the start… you conveniently ignored that I was talking about the general feed back on forums during those expansions)

I think 8.2 looks good (excited for new zone and mount equipment) and I have been enjoying BFA so far so ummm /shrug

8.2 looks like bland. Theyre punting and praying that their new overhauled azerite system will be a success. If it isnt then the expansion is done because they wont have the time to try to fix this mess again

Same thing happened every expansion after Wrath of the Lich King. They say the game is broken…the next expansion will fix everything. Then, it doesn’t.

Not saying they did not add it because of that, but they are in no way going to save Sylvanas all together. Might not die but she’s not going to be in charge.
I think all they can do is release what they have and try to learn from their mistakes. But they have been making the same mistakes for three expacs in a row now, so I wonder if anything will ever get better. Legion was better in some ways but worse in others, people just liked it because it wasn’t tiny and had pretty stuff. But really it was full of few choices and grinding on rails and a feeling of going no place, just like WoD and BfA.
Blizzard has just lost its mojo.
