Can the alliance get an actual "monstrous" race, please?

And no, Worgen do not count; they’re just humans with a disease.

Edit:

Guys, stop calling Worgen “werewolves” and that this makes them fit the bill. There is exceptionally little in-game representation that actually supports the Worgen condition being anything but cosmetic after the intial intro questlines. They are not different from Stormwind Humans or Kul Tiran Humans in terms of outlook, psychology, etc. except for what can be explained by regional and national differences (i.e. being from different societal kingdoms).

And with that, I’m done even acknowledging that erroneous representation of both Gilneans and the Alliance.

Do fish with legs count as monstrous?

So.

Hairy human.

Short robot human.

Tall pretty human with pointed ears who floated in space too long.

Wouldn’t call the Russian Space Goats “monstrous”.

More so than the two flavors of Draenei we got.

I like how you start off my saying that one of the “monstrous” races the Alliance have isn’t allowed to count. Werewolves are monsters, in literally every myth about them. A Worgen and a Werewolf are no different, and it’s not a disease either. It’s a curse that made them bloodthirsty creatures that was only cured with the help of the Night Elves. Also, just for your information, the Horde have the same amount of “monstrous” races if we want to use your idea of what a “monstrous” race is. The Tauren are just peaceful Minotaur’s.

Any “monster” races that get added to the Alliance are going to be “civilized” monsters, as Draenei and Worgen have been. It’ll never get anything that’s monstrous and acts monstrous… that’s more of a Horde thing.

Dude I want them to add Light Bound undead or Thin Kultiran model in new character customization for Shadow Lands.
But there is one more allied race slot for each faction and a neutral slot for each faction if you mimic the UI from regular races.
If they want to add and keep there player base they should fill these before SL!

So people in the Alliance crap on the Vulpera, now they want actual monsters as a race? You alliance players are straight up weird.

They’re not really any different from bog standard humans than Kul Tirans are. The only real difference is culturally, which I’d assume someone with “Lore” in their name would get. :stuck_out_tongue:

The only reason why I even bothered to get LF was for the new horn types and nothing else. Gave me a good excuse to make a pally and stick with it all the way to max level.

Correction. Humans with a curse. Worgen are a magic based curse. Otherwise, carry on.

I think OP was thinking more gnarly/ugly/scary sorts of monsters, not cute and fluffy types.

I think you’re the one that is misunderstanding? I’m not referring to their human form. The Worgen part of them is the monster part, and without the Night Elves they wouldn’t have even found a way to control themselves. It was them that helped the Worgen find a way to transform back and forth, otherwise they would have been stuck.
