Simple question - See title.
I’m looking to pick up an unused Flag of Ownership card for the code, but only if I can redeem it in SoD. Can this be done?
All RMT is allowed in SoD. It should work for your “recently acquired TCG item” too
I saw someone with one of them diablo minions. So probably.
There is no other way except RMT to acquire a code from a trading card game that is no longer in print and completely outside the game.
This isn’t a thread to argue about RMT or for you to make stupidly informed sarcastic remarks b/c you don’t like GDKPs. there are plenty of other threads for you to troll.
The cosmetic item comes from a scratch off code from a rare card in one of the old WoW TCG sets. It was redeemed by inputting the code with Landro Longshot, a lvl 70 NPC in the Cape of Stranglethorn Vale. I am not sure this NPC is in the game in SOD. Would like a blue post to confirm this as the TCG terms obviously do not state that the code does not work in SOD.
So you are getting an item in-game due to real world transfer of money on a discontinued item? That is RMT, guy. Blizz loves RMT. I’m sure it will work! Save some cash for p2 though!
I don’t think you can. I don’t remember ever seeing anyone running around on a spectral tiger or with any other tcg item in classic or classic tbc. As far as I remember tgc items weren’t added till close to tbc launch? Either way, I believe the way that they’ve been giving players access to some of the tgc goodies has been with things like the “wotlk enhanced pass” or whatever they called it or with 6 month subs.
Some players have mini diablo/zergling from having a registered copy of vanilla wow collectors edition, not from tgc.

No you can’t, dosen’t get added tell tbc classic sadly. Anti gdkp salt so high you’re in other threads talking about rmt for an old card game, these forums are the best for a giggle.
I have a hippogriff pet loot card. Maybe one day I’ll scratch it off. I don’t think anybody cares about that one tho lol
Thanks - thought so as well. Too bad really… BG’s could really use some flag planting and it makes rank grinding so much more fun. The flag is nothing but fun, but I can see some issue with the cards that rewarded mounts - even if they were all 60 speed, still a big boon.
Taurenlock should rename himself to saltblock. So hilarious to see him get all worked up over something he doesn’t understand.
I was honestly surprised to find any unscratched cards online. Thank god for hoarders! The flag of pwnership is going for like 250, not sure what the hippo is going for but you may have a nice collector’s item on your hand.

Yeah so contact me lol, I am collecting 2009 and earlier blizz/wow stuff. The hippogryph pet had a 2010 release( BUT the cards/tags on the plush are labeled 2009)…there is also a 2015 version.
