It sucks. Played hard in legion to get this achieve and for some reason I’m locked from using the mog I so desperately farmed. Feels like I’m losing out here.

Wands shoot so you cant transmog to something that doesnt shoot. Like you cant transmog a gun into a sword, it would make no sense to see stuff flying out of the end of a sword.

That’s a lackluster argument considering my lock never uses the non existent projectiles from this useless wand. Thus it means nothing to me. Let me use my hard earned mog appearance. It’s a LEGENDARY ARTIFACT give it special permissions for the love of Rezan. WE WONT GET OTHERS UNTIL 10.2

You dont have to like it but its a perfectly logical reason. Doesnt matter if you use them or not . Maybe there is a different reason , that is just what i recall reading and it makes sense for in game mechanics.
It goes.back to animation issues, only recently coukd we mog fistvweapons, and my daggers have to be daggers.
The artifact appearances are actually very lax for what they can mog over. You can turn a one hander and off hand into a staff.
That doesnt sound reasonable to me. There are no animation conflicts and if other classes can mog daggers tonfist weapons I want to mog wands into the artifact weapon skins. These are insane achievements that took weeks to learn and master, lots of gold for drums, food, augment runes, flasks. Lots of denied mythic plus runs with friends to bang my head against the wall for difficult solo content. This is SPECIAL. AND DESERVES SPECIAL RULES.

Daggers or fist weapons dont have a shoot ability tied to them. You can complain all you want i am just trying to explain to you why indont think it is allowed. Wands are just a strange outlier case. And really getting the skins wasnt that big of a deal.
Solution: Remove shoot.
Nobody uses shoot anymore. It’s a waste of a skill and not worth the issues it causes (causing GCDs by shooting, not allowing us to mog wands to other stuff, etc.)
Or, if they can’t remove shoot from wands: remove wands. Nobody liked them in WoD, nobody used them in Legion (none of the artifacts were wands), and nobody likes them now.

I agree 100%. There is no reason to have this in game. Remove the shoot and make wands moggable. It’s that simple.

Yeah, it’s this. Wands/shoot had their place in this game’s history, but it’s long since been a useless ability. It’s pretty much just a gimmick at this point. Here’s to hoping one day they change wands to just a “melee” ability and open up wand tmog restrictions.
A lot of people have wanted them to change wands because its terrible to get stuck with one, Blizzard says its because “they are ranged” yet when you go to the Auction House guess where wands aren’t located in the tabs? Ranged. They are under one-handed with the rest of the melee. -.-
