She’s on record sending her own troops on suicide missions, referring to them as arrow shafts in her quiver, and being all around distrustful. Not to mention her suspected mingling with Nathanos. All pre-banshee.

i just want aleria to read up on the scourge and arthas attack on the sunwell. The valiant ranger general sylvanis windrunner stood fiercely against the incoming hordes of enemies. Should be regardded as a hero imo.
Yes, her actions in this xpac is strange but as a loyalist i still support her. If all went her way we could have had a swift end to the war, conquered the alliance, and absorbed them into our ranks.

Sometimes a leader has to make tough decisions. If we are to criticize Sylvanas for that moment then Jaina, Anduin, and Mathias should be condemned for the suicide mission that a lot of Alliance forces undertook in Nazmir in order to ambush Rastakhan.
Nathanos was genuinely one of the best rangers at the time. That might’ve been what attracted her in the first place, seeing a human succeed at something only elves generally do well at.

Something we already know btw is that she has been a villain since all the way back in Wrath and she was just using the Horde for her own agenda which resulted in BFA which was an attempt to have the Horde and Alliance destroy each other and cause has many deaths has possible

sylvanis is now a war criminal there was signs of love for her sister during the book warcrimes. A shred of her sister still lives deep inside of that tormented heart.
Keep in mind, alleria chose the void powers while sylvanis was forced into torment of undeath. Mind controlled to kill against her will by the person who ripped her soul out.
That broke her. That reformed her into a monster. There is no denying that what she did as banshee queen is horrible atrocities but it all stims from being horrifically abused.
