At first I thought it was just a normal progression type server. We start with classic then after phase 6 and Naxx 40 we progress to TBC. Then after Sunwell we go to Wrath. I thought it was Classic (plus) the good expansions: TBC and then Wrath. Nothing else makes sense besides naturally progressing to the next expansion after X amount of time has passed. However, I dont think thats right, so what exactly does it mean?
It’s Classic, plus literally anything thing else you’d like.

When people are referring to Classic+ they mean Classic with another expansion added like Burning Crusade
Classic+ is just a term the people on here have created to describe whatever comes next after Phase 6. It has no official identity or name or anything.
It’s just an open ended idea that changes person-to-person.

It’s nothing.
Players who never wanted Classic were given it for free, and now they want to turn it into something else. But that was never the reason Classic was made. It exists to provide the Vanilla experience. That’s it.
What these people want is WoW 2.

I know a s**tload of people who wanted classic but now that it’s here they keep talking about Classic+
It’s an attempt to give wow a future that doesn’t suck.
Classic+ means that they want additional content added within the vanilla version of the game (such as new level 60 dungeons or raids, class balancing, new battlegrounds etc.) without the addition of a formal expansion. Progression servers are a different thing, whereby people want classic to eventually go to TBC and beyond.

The people who begged for Classic constantly were the same people generally playing on illegal servers, spitting in the WoW EULA’s face, and slandering Blizzard publicly for retail and going after private vanilla servers even though they were legally in the right to do so. I say screw the vocal minority and push for something most of the community wants. AKA, building upon Classic with hindsight in mind and more community involvement with fresh content.

It’s what happens when ppl don’t like classic when they get to 60 and start asking for everything under the sun to make their own specific ideal version of wow.
None of which align with anyone else’s. It’s literally a cluster fudge rolled together with a sheep show.
Quite honestly, I’m surprised no one from the high elf community hasn’t jumped on the classic plus bandwagon to derail it even further. I mean if your gonna rewrite classic why not go full steam ahead.

The idea that Blizzard will retcon the story they’ve developed the past 15 years to insert content with gameplay that the current team just can’t comprehend.
classic+ is the idea of new content being developed in the classic style, cut content such as hyjal or the dragon isles would be an example of classic+ content.

How on earth do you know that this is what the majority of people want? If you ask me, there are 10x more replies to these troll threads saying “keep classic as it is!” than people asking for new content. The people asking for new content are usually posting on retail accounts anyways.
Plus, Blizzard doesn’t have the people capable of producing games like they did in the early 2000s. Diablo III and retail are prime examples of that.

It is something that some users want because they think that Blizzard is still capable of creating good content. Basically, it would be new level 60 content that follows the Classic rules.
It could be great if Blizzard was still capable of producing good content. The fact they think BFA is a masterpiece and are proud of it, makes me think that they might not even be able to tell the difference in good content and bad content anymore.
If BfA is an example of the content the current Blizzard can produce. If this is the best they got … please just give us TBC and WotLK and let’s not even go down the Classic+ road.
