Dude, Sylvanas sacrificed the Forsaken to uphold her dumb belief. So that’s hardly fixed.
Tauren were the one who advocated for the Forsaken to be brought into the Horde. Because they believed they weren’t as bad as the Alliance said. How sad that, years later, the Tauren were so grossly wrong in their hope that they’re now threatened by the very people they tried to help. Sylvanas and her followers are a cancer in the Horde, and until she’s gone, the Horde as it stands doesn’t belong on this planet anymore.
Garrosh killed Baine’s father, Cairne Bloodhoof in a duel while debating how much more orcs should have more FREE resources from the Tauren people.
Seeing this as a good opportunity, the grim totem clan invaded Mulgore and even took over thunderbloof. Clearly this was a crisis.
Little people know is the true hidden history below.
Baine tried to join the alliance by sending a secret envoy to Darnassus, thinking that Night Elf Druids would sure to help the Taurens to join the alliance; but the guards at Darnassus denied the access of the Tauren envoy into Darnassus…why? beacause they didn’t wanna let lesser looking creatures enter the city…
So Baine had no choice but to join the horde and swear allegiance to the horde to ensure the safety of his people. And Indeed, he drove away Grim Totems back into the Stone Talon Mountains.
To me, Baine is the real Horde who knows the true meaning of honor and sacrifice. And what of Sylvanas? just kill kill kill?
I wonder if the people supporting Sylvanas even understand the significance of her change in character? Once upon a time, she used to value and cherish free will. Free will was what set the Forsaken apart from the plain ol’ vanilla Scourge, who were always under the dominion of the Lich King. And she used to lament the fact that the Forsaken were a dwindling people who can’t multiply (which is one of the main reasons she wanted the Valkyr, aside from saving her own hide should she die again).
Fastforward to Legion and BFA and you have Sylvanas murdering her own people for daring to see their families. She goes overboard and torches a tree full of civilians just because a half-dead soldier taunted her. She has no problem arbitrarily blighting and resurrecting her own soldiers during the Alliance’s retaliation for what she did to the tree. Now you have her attempting to resurrect someone and them rob him of the free will she used to hold so dear. And Nathanos all but makes it clear she’s attempting to build her own undead army.
For someone who claims to have hated everything the Lich King did and stood for, Sylvanas has been going out of her way lately to follow in his footsteps.
I wonder how many of those supporting Sylvanas have actually heard Bwonsamdi’s thoughts on her. That is in a quest line that involves Vol’jin’s remains.
I would take that person over someone who:
1.) Will follow Anduin’s orders about where to move his troops
2.) Follow Anduin’s declarations of who is the enemy and who we should be going to war with
3.) Follow Anduin’s orders on where and when his people can gather resources
4.) Allow his people to be deprived of resources in order to make the Alliance happy
5.) Beg for Alliance scraps for when his people are finally starving and lacking resources.
If Baine is ever Warchief, might as well start calling Anduin High Warchief.
When did most of that happen? Tauren weren’t part of the Orcs fighting over lumber from Ashenvale. They’re nomads who have always found a way to live off of the land without destroying it, that’s lart of their culture.
His people have never been deprived of resources, and they’ve never had to beg for scraps. The only begging Tauren have done was for help against the Centaur way back when. I think you’re confusing Tauren with Orcs, otherwise point me in the direction of this happening.
And following Anduin’s declarations of…what?? Again, where is this? Other than him choosing to stand against a literal cancer in his faction, where is he following Anduin’s orders of who is the enemy?
Honestly I don’t know where any of this has happened and genuinely want proof. And at the end of the day, I’d still rather someone who follows his own code than someone who’s basically just Lich Queen 2.0.
you do know one day if that happens…and all the little humans are undead or true dead you other races are next right?
She and the forsaken are a virus. They need hosts. She has always been for the forsaken. She will always be for the the forsaken.
Do you you think she will let trolls, orcs, etc breed uncontrolled so that one day the forsaken are an endangered species to them. The dark lady has some really bad paranoia issues to work out. Now more so…with an orc and a tauren going off the plan.
remember…she has turned to elves. First the dark rangers. Now the night elf rangers and dark wardens. If a betting man she is thinking well I can do high elves (source of original dark rangers), it works on night elves. Lets try blood elves now…
Cows and orcs she has done too. But that gas is unstable. It jsut made freaks at lordaeoron. Just a prototype. Do you think she stopped her peeps perfecting it?
You see that is the power she has as warchief. Unfettered research in this area.
Why do people keep saying this? Garrosh kicked everyone out who wasn’t an orc or agreed to be slaves to the orcs. He created the “True Horde/orcish horde” so it wasn’t even the real horde anymore.
Once she gets rid of the alliance we will get rid of her if she tries that on the Orcs, Trolls and Tauren. We are the original horde and one thing we are very very good at is to know how to survive . But first things first … alliance is the immediate priority .
Ya collateral damage so that she should kill even more alliance and also finish the war by destroying the leadership in one shot . She would have got away with it too instead of Jaina appearing out of no where .
The problem is that the Taurens were a bad fit for the horde … if not for the alliance being a bunch of racist and not liking ugly’ races, they should actually have been part of the alliance .
Their peace loving earth mother hippee lifestyle does not square with most of the horde .
Maybe because he doesn’t like the way the Horde is headed?
I’m a big fan of Sylvanas but I can see where other members of the Horde might have a problem with some of the things she has done. Particularly the Orc and Tauren who are grassroot honor-based cultures.
