Not all maintenance is scheduled hours or days in advance. Sometimes it’s minutes. Sometimes, it isn’t scheduled at all.

yeah i only saw it last night and tuesday is schduled maintence day hell, i got kicked becuase i didnt even get a countdown to maintence time

Technically, they could announce it 1 second prior to shutdown and it would have been scheduled.

don’t need to, they felt the need to take the realms offline to fix something.

I saw no notification. The launcher still has Tuesday’s maintenance on it.

It clearly says Thursday.

We will be performing scheduled maintenance beginning on Thursday, July 16, 7:00AM (PDT) and we expect the service to be available again at approximately 8:00AM (PDT).

During this time the game will be unavailable to play.
