So you have to zerg slightly less hard now. Big deal.
What’s the problem?

Can you explain why it is a good change? I haven’t seen any pro-change points that actually apply. A SLIGHT exception might be to lessen the amount of numbers calculated to reduce lag.
I actually want to know, because I’m against a change that will make legacy runs and the once-in-awhile mob of mob attacks more annoying that it has to be.
Truthfully I’m not really for or against it. I don’t see it as an improvement, but I really don’t see anything changing all that much.
Legacy runs are practically unchanged because everything dies instantly anyways. Only difference is it takes an extra tick of an aoe to kill things.
Another instance of Blizzard shooting itself in the foot, then insisting that it will make them walk faster.
It’s a “good change” because it makes it so you can’t mass pull in m+. This knocks melee down a peg and helps out casters.
It’s a bad change because legacy runs are going to be annoying now.
I don’t think it helps the casters when they are also having the target cap put on their abilities
it’s mostly melee crying about it too which is to be expected. lol
Dps will whine about anything that hurts thier max potential output. Pull big pewpew hard. Number big. Yay.
I don’t think the impact on legacy will be that big. Most trash can be skipped or is one shot. If farming drops from trash than attack more actively instead of doing nothing while gathering. I don’t think it will take longer than usual to do old content. I don’t care much about scant minutes of time in old content either though.
Have you done Carapace of N’zoth, OP?
it’s bad enough we get content revisions based on how 1%'ers play, and PVP. now we have to change for M+? if it pisses off the go go goers, then maybe it’s ok.
Meteor actually will be better either way. It splits damage, so less targets = fatter ignite.
Alternatively, it’s a proper AOE that doesn’t split now, which is better than what we have now as well.
Fulmination shouldn’t even be on that page, that’s not a target cap thing.
This change is awful, though. Gameplay was BFA’s largest weakness by far, why double down on these stupid ideas?
i’m hoping with a change like this they’re gonna change things to be more cc based and less just smashing your face into your AoE.
It helps out dot classes. As a spriest and lock player, I’m lowkey just thinking on how phat my dps is gonna be on higher keys where things stay alive longer.
It’s a feelsbad for mages. Didn’t look into ele’s yet.
Have YOU done Carapace of Nzoth?
It’s just a massive add fest. Is Blizzard going to promise to NEVER make an encounter with more than 5 adds, ever again? I doubt it.
They’re not thinking through how this will impact encounter design.
AOE ruined the game… I applaud the change.
did you have fun in cata? do you know why i ran the crap out of dungeons in cata but don’t have even 1 +2 done this expansion? if the game goes back to being fun all around i don’t care about your bleeding edge crap.
It’s not. People just need to hate the game and blizzard. Shadowlands could be the best expansion of all time and people would ignore it to find reasons to complain. The community has been spiraling further and further into a negative feedback loop since the BFA beta. There is no turning back at this point.
Lol…
You people are too much.
The sky isn’t falling.
maybe those cc buttons will finally be on some dpsers bars again. the horror.
You want us to CC 30 adds on Carapace, which must be killed to progress the fight forward?
