Can someone help me with FPS/Game Stutters?

Hello! I just upgraded my pc with a Ryzen 9 7900x and a 4070ti.
I have disabled my addons and re-enabled them and in both instances the game still stutters and I get very low fps. The stutters makes me very nervous because I can’t do high keys or mythic raid because I’ll die to avoidable stuff.

I play Apex Legends and I don’t have this issue- I go a steady 144fps+.

I’ll attach dx file in a moment. Please tell me if I have missed something or need to give more information. I haven’t really had this problem before.

Howdy Gladur,

I didn’t see any specific problems in the DxDiag but noticed that there are some old harddrives in the computer. Is WoW installed on the SSD? If not, that could be causing stuttering issues.

If WoW is installed on the SSD, then I would suggest disabling all other programs and resetting the WoW UI temporarily so we can test the default version of WoW without any addons. That will help us narrow down the cause of the stuttering.

Go to windows settings > display > graphics options > change default graphics settings.
Disable Optimization for Windowed games, then restart pc. . that fixed the poor fps for myself. also using ryzen. you can also look up “Disable MPO” that can help a lot too.

Hello Zenlaka! WoW is installed on my m.2. I just use the hdds for vod storage.
A user suggested changing a power management setting and that worked for the last 2 weeks (and I also changed my resolution and refresh rate from 1440p/165hz to 1080p/144hz).
However when I started weakauras my game started lagging. I disabled the wa addon but the lag is still here.
Is there a folder that I needed to delete? Would weakauras/addons really be the issue?

The only addons I use everyday are: dbm, details, MRT, MDT, MythicPlusTimer, O Item Level, Plater, Premade Groups Filter, rio, simc, and weakauras.

For weakauras I use a monk one, liquid raid tools, and the raid timeline.

Howdy Gladur,

If this lag only starts after installing an addon, then it may be related to that addon or how it interacts with other addons. My suggestion would be to install one addon at a time and make sure the game is working correctly after each one. You may need to make some configuration changes to get them working together and minimize lag. I’d recommend discussing this with other players on the UI forums who may be able to help with configuring specific addons.
