Can someone Explain like I'm 5 how the Hearthstone’s 10-Year Anniversary event works?

I want to obtain this mount. I don’t understand the news page on what I’m supposed to do… It’s very confusing, even pasting it into AI, it couldn’t understan

Ok so I logged into Hearthstone, the tutorial was already done last year, and I got nothing. no notification, no popup for the mount… nothing. What do I have to do ???

The mount is just there, in a box in your mount collection. it doesnt give any other notice or such.

  1. Log into Hearthstone
  2. Exit Hearthstone
  3. Log into WoW
  4. Look at mount tab

If it’s not there, check filters, then exit game and exit Bnet then log back in.

If you want the second mount or the other items, there are 3 rotating areas that you can kill bosses at: Orgimar, Stormwind, Valdraken. Spawns every hour on the half hour (I believe).

Just look for the portal icon and kill. Similar to the treasure goblin event.

I would not use this as a guide to getting to a boss spawn on time. The timers have been very sporadic, hopefully they will be fixed during todays maintenance.

So do you automatically get the mount or you have to do the Hearthstone quest in Valdrakken? Or the Hearthstone tutorial?

When you say rotating, does that mean it is a different spot every hour? Or, that the portal spawns at every spot, every hour, and you can run to each one?

Every hour around the top of the hour (so between X:45 to Y:15) a portal will spawn in either Durotar, Valdrakken, or Stormwind (and will rotate in that order) in their Hearthstone event areas (Durotar is just south/south east of the Orgrimmar gates, Valdrakken in way above the bank on a circular platform, and Stormwind is north of the docks next to the largest building with a blue roof) that will summon three elite bosses (an ogre or yeti, a beholder, and a goblin in that order). Tag at least the goblin boss and loot him for a chance at the mount and other items.

Oh, THAT mount. Log into Hearthstone. Log out. Close Battle.net entirely. Log in to World of Warcraft. Check your mount collection.

I reinstalled HS all 9 gigs
Did tutorial a while back
Told MS Firewall it was ok
Volume of announcer blasted headphones off my ears
40 pop ups appeared saying welcome back
One of them was for the mount
Mailed instantly to my box

They need to set volume at medium on install. TY

I had to install HS and login. That opened the update window for a 3+Gb download. Once that was done I closed HS and opened WoW, mount was in my collection to be opened. But nothing until the upgrade was completed. :speak_no_evil::hear_no_evil::see_no_evil:

Noooo. That mount is a drop from the boss. The instruction posted are to acquire the Fiery Hearthsteed.

How are all you people logging into WoW to check for it? Mine says maintenance doesn’t end for another 6 hours.
