Can someone explain Idol of Y'shaarj

So you have the left side of talent branch/tree that revolves around Mind Blast and buffing your Shadowfiend.

  • Mind Blast crit chance and crit damage

  • Shadowfiend duration and damage + upgraded form Mindbender (does anyone have % dps increase on mind bender?) + Shadowfiend / Mindbender cleave

  • Shadow Word: Death at 35% target life (instead of 20%)

Is there a world where IoY feels like a rewarding capstone where you feel good about it? A capstone that penalizes you for having 12 seconds of 15% haste by punishing you with -10% haste for 8 seconds @ 2ppm. An extremely mediocre, passive haste with a debuff mechanic as a capstone that has nothing to do with Mind Blast, Shadow Word: Death, or Shadowfiend/ Mindbender. Not only that, but it’s RNG proc so you can’t maximize it.

Is there anyone out there in love with this capstone, that lives and breathes it that think it fits right in? Cause to me it seems like trash that makes no sense as a capstone.

In terms of raw value it’s “Fine”, but it feels extremely detached as a talent compared to the rest.

At a 7.5%~ net haste proc on 2 ppm that’s about as strong as PI.
