I’m sorry, I do really like the idea of this ability, but quite frankly, I’ve seen absolutely no warriors, arms or protection, make use of this talent, not even myself. Personally I feel something much more interesting can be put in play in our talent tree, it’s been there for multiple expansions now, but it’s completely beat out by the other two options in every expansion the ability has been in.
Anger Management has been completely dominant for the most part in the talent line, if Ravager got a buff or something that’d be cool, but it’s a pretty flavorless ability for the most part, I know the lack of azerite traits and essences might bump it in line a bit more, but I think something else should seriously replace the ability at this point.
Tomb of sargeras tier set + convergence of fate trinket from nighthold made ravager really good and fun to play with in that tier.
They could just boost the damage or make you do dps abilities like the tier set had. But the main problem is because of the deep wounds mastery overriting one another limiting his potential and we prob wont see mastery change in shadowland
It’s confirmed to be functioning that way on alpha at present per Bajheera, yes. However, due to some wonky behavior with honor talents and such, it’s unclear whether this is intended behavior or if Blizzard’s legendary spaghetti code is at it again. Definitely an interesting thing worth keeping an eye on, however. It would make arms just absolutely silly with burst AOE scenarios.
Well I think right now its a dead talent. I pick it on prot for visions sometimes to farm tokens but never touch it as arms. They have to do something with it as no way it competes with bladestorm as is.
making it line up with CS instead of the awkward CD would go along way
modifying our abilties while it is active as well, but this is moving into the direction of it being a baseline CD.
i wouldn’t prefer this as i like the immunity of BS, but they need to figure out what role it is supposed to fill because it was unused for an entire expansion and no one should be content with a talent being in such a state, especially a max level talent.
It’s been used multiple times in the past as the best option and comes down purely to tuning. It’s pretty rare for a talent to not be taken simply because it simply has no scenario where it works better.
