Title says it all.
They’re not pets, They’re guardians so you don’t have any control over what they do. They’ll attack whatever you spawned them on or anything that attacks you. Guardians don’t have a pet bar.
I’d just be happy if they would attack my ranged target and didn’t chase a random critter off into the sunset
Scrap homunculi and give shadow something cool and good, or put twisted fate in that slot.
It’s a meme ability but also the only viable rune in many situations.
It’s the major issue effecting spriest imo. If they really want to give spriests armor pen add it to an ability that is actually under the players control, such as a ray attack or cone maybe? Shadow has to be in range 20 normally so could fit.
This just isn’t how the spell is operating in my experience. They will attack whatever they are spawned on and then they basically stand there stupidly or randomly chase something you didn’t want them to. If they even assisted off whatever the Priest cast a spell on/wanded they’d be serviceable but the only way to “aim” them that I have found is using a melee attack.
I’m not sure why it needs to be that way, maybe some clarification on why from the devs would help
Wrong. They’ll attack whatever they want, including stuff that hasn’t attacked you, making them not only not helpful, but also a liability in group content.
I finally “tested” them this weekend.
They don’t respond to attacks until you have been hit twice. Sure, not the end of the world, but it would be nice if you “responded” quicker.
Their aggro radius is massive. It’s larger than my character and they don’t benefit from spawn delay. For example, something could spawn next to you and you have a couple of seconds to get out of range before they aggro. They get attacked immediately which is a bit of a pain too.
I got a dhk from a building in hiilsbrad that had an orc npc in it, and was deranked because they are not dismissable. I’m considering never touching sod again because of this
