I know that most the population is right handed, but when we talk main hand off hand it gets confusing for a southpaw like me.
I equipped a new weapon in my “Main hand” only for it to appear in my right hand.
I know this is minor but with all the cosmetic upgrades in shadowlands this would be a gift from elune for us lefties.

But what if you’re a Druid?
That would require them to make new animations for every race and weapon type, so no, your character cannot be left handed.
Sounds pretty sinister to me.
Lol I would like that I’m right handed and when I was younger I wanted to be left handed because it was less common and felt more specil I tried to use my left hand but didn’t work out well Lol. Would be nice to use whatever hand we wanted on our characters

Lefthandler - Display your weapon in the left hand but lose 50% of it’s power.
Using your left hand is bad and should even be considered as a crime!

This should be a pretty easy customization option to implement.
They would have to redo animations.
Should be a simple mirror for the character and gear.
As a fellow leftie it would be nice but yeah, the game and engine is probably way too old for them to do a quick character model mirror swap or whatever.
Don’t forget that the game is running on a modified Warcraft III engine. It’s a miracle the thing is still running at all!

Does not work like that.
Why? It did for Zelda: Twilight Princess. On Gamecube link was left handed. But on Wii they flipped him to right handed because of the Wii Controller.
I imagine left-handedness would get trained out of most races armies, since it could mess up formations.
So your character might be left handed, but they’re trained to fight with their right hand as their main hand so it doesn’t matter.
What? No it wouldn’t. They would just mirror the animation rig.
