When I look at Stormwind, I think of Human.
When I look at Orgrimmar, I think of Garrosh.
In Stormwind, you have bright lighting everywhere, you always see your characters fresh and clean.
In Orgrimmar, you are constantly switching background between a red tainted sky or the Molten Core. What does it remind me?
Mordor from Lord of the Rings, except, instead of having tall and epic structures like the Warsong Hold in Northern, there are many camping tents, most are pretty empty too, nowhere to sit, no tables around, crates scattered everywhere randomly. I wonder how Horde NPCs manage to come up with all the battle plans, documents and books.
Is it because of the technological difference? I don’t think so. Naaru didn’t enlist to build Stormwind. If they come to see Orgimmar, they might grow a pair of eyes and start crying too. “Here children of the Light, here’s a Tempest Keep 2.0”
Jokes aside, excluding Naaru’s technology, both factions are similar in terms of tech advancement.
But when I look at Stormwind, I see medieval architecture and elegance.
When I look at Orgrimmar, I see primitive, savage and unorganised… tents.
Can we call the alliance to help us build up something like the Warsong Hold if Horde is going to be Mordor in wow for the next 10 expansions?
And if you are worried that this will only make the Horde more popular and further widen the faction imbalance. Why don’t you make Alliance interesting to play and be the stir-er of the pot for one expansion?
