I can not create AND save any Macros on ANY Characters. Following are steps already taken:
I open the macro interface and there is no icon in the first macro box | I enter the following macro command: /cast Lava Burst | Then I click "Change Name/Icon | on that next screen I pick icon (I have tried many different icons) I see it populate the right box titled “Currently Selected” | I enter a name: Test (tried many different names) | I then click bottom right “Okay” button | Then I am back at the main macro window and I see no icon populated in the icon slot on this main page yet my command is still there. I click “Save” and it can be clicked but still there is no icon to drag to a bar yet the command is still there | I close and reopen “Macros” and my command is still there and still no name or icon.
If I then choose the “Delete” Button in the lower left corner | I am prompted with Dialogue box am I sure i want to delete the macro (no name included) I say yes | then I am back at the Marco window and there is still no icon and my commands are still there…
with “/console scriptErrors 1” “ON” throughout this entire problem testing I get ZERO errors or data on console.
Steps taken thus far (all with Zero/None/NO addons installed (not disabled | None installed)

Reinstalled (wiped drive) Windows OS 11 [Windows 11 Home | version: 24H2 | OS build: 26100.3775 and Fresh Install WOW Version: 11.5.60490 two times and still macro’s will not save / work, even if i create a new character
NOTE: After OS wipe and fresh install upon logging in all my Talent loadouts still exist…
why is this happening on fresh install, where are these saved. -
Did fresh install of WOW on a different computer [macos | Apple M3 | Sequoia 15.4.1] (Release arm64) version 11.5 (60490) Apr 23 2025 / again macros will not save / work for any characters even if i create a new character.

Ran suggested command: /console scriptErrors 1 this showed nothing happening when trying to create and save a macro on either OS platform including using brand new battlenet account and new character.

I went further thinking maybe a Battlenet issue:
I created a brand new Battlenet account using a different email | I then bought another copy of the game… Then using fresh wiped OS and new WOW install I login | create new Level 1 character and then still can not create a macro.
I used several different realms and previous as well as new lvl 1 characters and still same problem.
Super frustrating so let me know what other data you need to look into this issue and please note that there is nothing in current forums I or “in game support” could find except one entry where it sounded like the same issue, but by them simply using the console command it fixed that particular users issue. I have been trying all the above steps with that console scriptError 1 command and again the whole time it shows Zero info during the process. Again this is also with NO ADDONS Installed.
Please investigate this and help me fix this issue
