Can Items and Gold Be Mailed Cross Faction on Account?

I just want to know, with cross faction, can I mail items off the AH/Gold between my characters on a server if they are different factions? Like legendary blanks, pots, mats, gold ect.

I believe so, but only on the same server.

I was wondering about trading, like flasks in dungeons. But if they open up the mail, and I can send stuff to my horde alts, glorious!

No you can’t. Only BoA labeled items can be sent across more than your own server in your own faction.

The change is for custom groups only. It doesn’t apply to anything else.

People said it was working on the PTR.

People on the PTR forum back in March and April were reporting they could mail gold and consumables, not just BoA stuff.

Did Blizzard detect the possibility for fun in that and “fix” it for us?

I am seriously hoping they have made this to go across servers as well!! I would be so happy!!

What they were saying at the time was that they were able to send mail to any character on their realm, not just their own alts.

They won’t do that. AH issues.

If I can send BoA ash and cinders, along with AH items/flasks/pots/gold to all characters on the same server, I may race change one or two of my toons. But if I cant share my resources on the server between chars, there isnt really a point to race changing anything.

I saw a thread on the PTR forum which I can’t find anymore, that said they couldn’t cross faction mail anymore as of a recent build. No idea if they were right, or if that was on purpose.

Guess we’ll find out for sure in a few hours!

I really would like a gnome monk and a dwarf paladin. But all my chars, and resources are horde side. Lets just wait and hope.

The last I heard which was a few days ago you can mail non soulbound items and gold to your other cross faction characters as long as they are on the same server.
