Can I use another spell while eye beaming?

I’ve always just waited for Eye Beam to finish before using another spell because I think it cuts its DPS?

Yup. Also gives a nice haste bonus for finishing the channel. Usually you’ll only wanna cancel to dodge pve mechanics or to kick/avoid being kicked in pvp.

So it doesn’t affect the damage it does if I cancel it or use another spell? Because I stop seeing numbers on top of the monster if I move while doing eye beam

If you use any ability while channeling eye beam, you will stop using eye beam. This is especially bad in the current expansion, since you need to completely finish the channel to benefit from furious gaze (haste buff). So be sure to let it channel completely, and wait until its over to press buttons!

I think if you are eye beeminig and you interrupt the enemy you still get the haste?
