Can I stay logged in from 10am till launch?

i think you should be able to.
Sadly no you cant, you will be automatically kicked in 30 min after being logged in to the character creation screen.

If that is true, can I log in 25min before launch and be g2g?
Maybe. I expect Blizz to kick everyone off right at 6PM and let everyone who doesn’t do this have a shot at getting in.

Only if u set up a macro so u don’t get afk booted, and keep it up
But my guess is they will do a quick server reset 10-15 min prior to launch

Well yes you can stay logged in but will log you out if your idle too long. It might log out when launch hits who knows. Just be ready at the go live time.
Can any others confirm that 30 min. Is correct? I suppose I could test it…
Pretty sure it’s accurate, has been cited multiple times over the last couple days.
every 20 min or so pretend to try and create a new character it will reset the afk timer.
If i remember correctly, during the reddit AMA the devs said there would be a soft server reset right before launch, but youd still be able to log in just in time before the enter world button lights up.

What if that’s just a conspiracy to keep people from doing this so THEY can get in first.

k, I tested this, and confirmed, it kicks you after exactly 30 min.
I also tried this, and it DOESN’T work. It still kicks you after exactly 30 min.

He’s right guildies and I tested this. Regardless of what you do ever 30min you get kicked.

No. Blizzard said somewhere they will do realm restarts right before launch.

That’s not what they said. They said they might do a realm restart somewhere between then (when the AMA happened) and launch. They did, btw. They took the servers down…I think Saturday briefly.
