Probably. Counts as an “unsupported transaction” though. Which means, if anything goes wrong, there’s nothing you can do about it.
I wouldn’t guess this would get you any trouble though it is kinda a grey area because anyone watching the “transaction” could become aware of what name is about to be released and keep trying to take it.
You arent trading real life currency for the name, in game currency for an in game name… sounds legit to me but as Big said you could lose out on the name in a worse case scenario since you have to advertise what names will be released by the very nature of this sort of thing.
After reading the blue post as of now about 13 hours old on exploits, I’d say it’s 100% bannable. It is equal to a exploit because you are sitting on a game name to get a advantage over other players by earning gold in a way not intended.
I personally think it’s also a exploit.
Seeing as people want certain names and you hold them hostage i think your account should be Perma banned
