Want to upgrade me gear to tier mythic gear for look through catalyst. Can we still do that for the look or was fun detected?

also season 4 of SL had the buffed M+ dungeons which is why you could catalyst mythic dungeon pieces into mythic raid looks
its since been removed ofc no more fated raids

415 13/13 M+ gear converted through Catalyst has the Mythic appearance. Since you can now valor upgrade up to that level, any drops you get can unlock the Mythic appearance, instead of waiting for items to convert from the Vault like in SL.
A good tip BTW : if you have a 402-405 from M+ and you catalyst before upgrading, you can unlock both Heroic and Mythic appearances for that slot.

didnt they say that mythic + gear would have a lower cap than mythic beforee SL released?

SL had its flaws but there was more stuff to do
The stuff that drops from the end of dungeon chest does, the stuff I’ve been getting from the vault maxes out at 415

Valor upgrades max out at 415.
ahhh I’ve not been doing 20s yet, mostly 17s here and there and didnt look at the vault screen.
Kinda OP, sorta, if you use creation catalyst I guess. Just M+ alone? No. M+ vault pieces through creation catalyst? Yes, I think, I could be wrong.
YES, you can! if the IL is 415 or higher it will turn into the mythic raid appearance
