Can I dual wield a Lionheart Executioner and Stormherald in WotLK pre-patch?

As a fury warrior with Titan’s Grip, are those restrictions lifted on crafted BoP items?

No, one requires Swordsmithing…the other Hammersmithing. You can’t be both at once.

Ok, so the restrictions remain for TBC crafted items into WotLK.

yes, it would also be a bad combo anyways. You’ll find better combos in the first dungeons and questing.

Thanks. I thought it might be fun during the pre-patch phase before WotLK drops.

I’m going Apolyon/Catas Edge myself

I believe Titan Grip is in the Arms tree

Just get 2 Apolyons. If anyone asks say you need the second one for a different enchant depending on 6200 vs 7700 armor bosses.

It’s fury, it’s always been fury >.>

Arms gets bladestorm.

I mean after you get 2 or 3 they start getting given out for memes

Double Apolyon!!

Two Apolyons is less damage than Apolyon/Cata based on testing.

The weapon swing difference + extra armor pen does like 300+ more dps than double Apolyon. Armor pen goes a long way in scaling up damage for Titan’s grip fury.

It’s a pretty unexpected outcome tbh.

The Blade of Harbingers (aka the 150 badge 2H Axe) is a pretty good weapon if you need a second 2Hder and aren’t planning on doing raids or Arenas for the S3 2H weapon.

Is a myth.

Looks like Arms is more DPS in prepatch from the testing people are doing. Not a substantial amount though.

season 4 sword and apollyon is the only real choice

So is you getting past felmyst or above a 50 parse…

It isn’t though. These tests are also conducted against target dummies without WF or buffs like kings. Having a second, extremely large, stat stick is going to scale much better in raid than arms.

I mean, I’ve see both the arms and the titans grip test without buffs, and arms pulls ahead. In a raid setting, I’d assume that arms is benefitting just as much as TG from raid buffs/debuffs. We’ll have to see. The consensus from most of the warriors right now is to go arms during prepatch, though.

It’s largely because of how hard Fury is nerfed by 3.3.5, and the problem with ArP. Fury becomes incredible once you can reliably hit the ArP cap (without sacrificing all other stats) and I’m not sure that’s possible in prepatch, though I could be wrong.
