man, is leaping to conclusions the only exercise people on these forums get?
i make a thread wanting a pvp server, so obviously i just want to gank lowbies.
i make a thread decrying censorship, so obviously i just want to use slurs.
man. so glad people here understand my motivations better than i do. and here i thought i liked killing gankers, and already use slurs exactly as much as i want to.

your post was about the feature letting a person know an incoming message may contain certain subject matter.
you were still able to see the message.
therefore not censored.
if you have a dictionary handy you should consult it. my post was edited by the mods, my words were stifled. compare that to the definition of censorship and get back to me.

your complaint is when someone sends you a message, you get a message letting you know it may contain offensive words. something you can click through.
it has nothing to do with anything you say.
it’s 100% about others sending you a message.
As long as we’re back on the subject I gotta ask: Do we also dislike those messages at the beginning of TV shows that mentions ‘subject matter may be disturbing to some viewers’?

the example i used to illustrate the ACTUAL complaint remains, but the complaint itself is how we are being treated like infants, and i asserted i was not 6 years old and dont need to be protected from words. especially after selecting the options to NOT censor messages sent to me. and my post was edited to remove the HIGHLY OFFENSIVE assertion i am not 6 years old.
which means it was censored. BY DEFINITION.

Finally got through this thread, good entertainment to kick off the holiday weekend.
I am thankful that the pro censorship, hypocritical screechers do not hold the popular mindset in this country, as we’ve recently been shown.

“be nice to everyone” is harmful?
I like certain warnings, especially as they relate to use of repeated high levels of flashing lights. My nephew has epilepsy and he tries to avoid anything like that, so even if he decides to still watch it, he can be prepared to look away.

you can still see the in game message you complained about.
