Can I disable blue glow around mouse wanting you to click someone?

I possibly am just being dumb, but is there some way to disable the blue mouse border that wants you to click on someone completely?

I use several mouseover macros for both healing and damaging, and I miss the nameplate sometimes which makes my mouse glow blue with some abilities, and it makes you unable to use other abilities until you either right click on a target, or left click to cancel the blue border…

Trying to google it is getting me nowhere as I don’t even know what it’s called.
I just want to be able to spam my holy shock bind as I’m about to hover over a nameplate without this stupid border ruining my flow lol… Trying to google it is getting me nowhere

You can cancel it by adding

/stopspelltarget

to your macros.

So, for example:

#showtooltip
/cast [@mouseover, help, nodead][]Holy Shock
/stopspelltarget

When you hit the escape key does that remove the glow? That’s how I’ve done it in the past.

I thought I tried this in the past without it working but I must have done it wrong before and just written it off in my mind, oops.
