Can I delete the WOW files?

A while ago I accidentally had 2 installations of WOW, one on my C, and one on my D drive, so I uninstalled WOW and cleared a lot of the files out. I am about to reinstall wow on my computer again, to my C drive, but when I search up “warcraft” in my computer a lot of files still come up, despite the game being uninstalled, and saying so on battle net. I used to think the reason the game was running slow was because I had 2 copies of it, but I now know that it was because of the fact that it was on the D drive which was not SSD, meaning it would be slower and worse in quality. I just wanted to know, if I should still go through and delete all my old wow files, or keep them, as they will be overwritten or something in the new install and it wont really matter? Thanks.

If you are planning on a fresh install, then yes, you can delete the old ones first.

just make sure to back up the interface and WTF folders if you want to save all your preferences, addons, settings, and such.

And screenshot folder if you wanna save those too.
