I’ve mained a hunter since Vanilla and to this day hunters STILL have to find a Stable Master outside an inn or in a major city to change out their pets. Why? Every other tedious NPC has been written out of the game for many years. Class trainers are no longer an NPC you have to visit every other level; however, hunters still need to use a Stable Master to change out their 5 pets?
Please consider giving hunters a tab in “Collections” for all their pets. We have it available for mounts and battle pets, give hunters some modern-day pet love!
On that same note, please don’t relegate a prescribed number of “stable slots” at the whim of the developers. A big part of the fantasy of the hunter is being able to tame rare/unique pets, names included. At this point, my stables have long been full with the unique named creatures throughout the 20 years of expansions… and it’s disappointing with each new content patch that new tamable creatures are constantly being added and you have to “abandon” beloved pets to attain the newest iteration of that creature skin.
We need a hunter pet tab! Allow us to be able to view and search through our pets as needed for certain scenarios (and/or to make a tasteful transmog or mount combo). Don’t allow swaps of the 5 active pet slots if you are in competitive content such as Raiding, Mythic+ or PvP. Please bring hunters into the current state of WoW and STOP the incessant need to find a Stable Master any time you ping a rare pet on your adventures that you want to tame or need that uniquely named spider you tamed ages ago to match your current outfit or mood.
I will say it again… please make Stable Masters obsolete and give hunters a hunter pet tab to peruse at our leisure, rather than the poorly conscripted, woefully outdated stable of 20 pages of generic pet icons that you painstakingly click through to find that one desired pet.
Give hunters a pet tab in “Collections” so we can all happily /emote (whatever emote fits your fancy) at the Stable Master as we pass them by in the major city as the newest iteration to become obsolete in the ever evolving World of Warcraft.
Make this huntress happy… please.
