Can Hobbits or Halflings join the alliance

The Tolkien estate would object strenuously.

It’s really in your best interest. Thunder Bluff is a much better capital for someone of your stature. Just think of the distance people could get.

Isn’t that just Gnomes?

Not furry though. No cute little ears. I want a human looking race that has ears and a tail. Cat/fox whatever but make them adorable

Ebon Blade is an organization and didn’t erase their racial identity. Forsaken have forsakened their old lives and rebranded themselves as a new race.

Oh for the love of.

Ok, let’s say Blizzard caves in and gives you your perfect High Elf playable race, what then?

Then I’ll be pleased and Alliance.

I’d say you’d accomplish this by just selecting the Fair skin tone on Void elves but I’m honestly tired of arguing this.

Blizz does more animal-biased anamorphic Races, and in that tone I’d love to see Cat people like these eon the Alliance.

(I don’t see Blizz doing the FFXIV style Cat people.)

This is Warcraft, not Middle Earth.

True, but Orcs are Tolkien.

Everquest had Halflings. But I’m not sure they’d suit WoW; and yet; a WoW created Hobbiton would be gorgeous!

I’m pretty sure everything in Tolkien’s books predate his novels. Elves, dwarves, halflings, orcs, goblins, wizards.

You’re right. It all comes from myths and legends, doesn’t it?

Fantasy was a lot darker in the past!

Yea I’m pretty sure Tolkien didn’t invent Orcs either. Gave his interpretation of them but didn’t invent them.

I will never be a Voidie. They go against everything that it means to be a High Elf.

Then pretend. I mean you’re pretending to be a High elf that’s a Death Knight who is fighting on the Horde side alongside Blood elves.

I can’t pretend that an abomination isn’t an abomination.

And no, it isn’t pretend. Only High Elves are Death Knights, not Blood Elves, as they died and were raised before Blood Elves even exist. Not even Blizzard can retcon this fact.

Blood elves are high elves. From Wowpedia:

“The blood elves (or sin’dorei, “children of the blood” in Thalassian — pronounced [ˈsiːndɔraÉȘ], [siːnˈdɔraÉȘ] or [siːndɔreÉȘ]) are high elves who changed their name after the Scourge invasion of Quel’Thalas. Their new name is a dirge, referencing both the blood of their many brethren who fell during the Third War, and their royal lineage.”

Notice it says Blood Elves are High Elves who changed their NAME, not their RACE or SPECIES.
