Unholy is better anyways. Not as clunky, has more than one viable build, better theme, etc
How come FDKs can’t transmog dual wield weapons to a two hander when Holy paladins can transmog their giant artifact hammer into shield and one hander?

First off, you have that backwards: Holy Paladins are able mog 1H/OH into their artifact appearances.
Second, artifacts are exempt from mog rules so that no class/spec is ever put in the situation where they cannot use those appearances. Frost is a dual-wielding spec with a dual-wield artifact, so no exemption is necessary. Regular mog rules apply for all other items.

If nothing else, it’s fantasy shattering in the capacity that regardless of people’s opinion on what frostmourne is [1 or 2h] or what spec type Arthas was, (it was the frozen throne, every dk spec has cold rooted throughout them etc.) or from whence any given frost dk main gets their class fantasy from in the timeline.
Regardless of all that, they still want to wear a, if nothing else, appearance of a 2h.
Is that a crime?

I never said or implied it was. All I was doing was pointing out the misunderstanding in their argument, which was the implication that Holy Paladins (or other classes) had special, or different mog rules. Which is simply not the case.
I’ve said it dozens of times: I genuinely don’t care if a cosmetic 2H option is added. It does nothing to affect me, and it leaves the gameplay balancing issues out of it. It’s probably the best solution we have to the 2H Frost debacle. I don’t think Blizzard will do it, or not for a long time if they ever do relax mog rules even further, but I personally have no issue with it. I made no argument against it.
I wish tone was easier to establish in a text based conversation. That was a joke line like trying to leave off on a light note. (Edit: Light note intended for blizzard )
