If Blizzard wanted too, they would have opened up artifacts a long time ago. But they haven’t. And the Invoker class is not going to change that.
Because your argument boils down to “I think this is bad so I don’t care if they make it worse because they’ve done it for other things”. I do care, and that’s a dumb argument, sorry.
That’s relatively self-evident - the lack of an entire expansion’s worth of weapon skins. An expansion that knocked much of its gear design out of the park, too! That’s a huge gap.
And as mentioned previously, I think they should also have access to polearms. Just like we see in the cinematic. The weapon type just works well with a lithe draconic humanoid. But that’s more of a personal affectation than anything else.
If you’re not benefitting from something, you may as well take advantage of that lack of a benefit. I don’t think that’s a difficult line of thinking to follow.
Class set lookalikes are fantastic, even if it dilutes the class fantasy. They open up so many more opportunities for character concepts than they close (if they even close any?).
Class agnostic gear is also fantastic, even if it also blurs the line.
Cross-faction groups are also fantastic, even if I also value the faction conflict.

to be fair there is no such thing as a complete class experience. The legion weapons being made for transmog make no sense. Why would Nozdormu take these guys back in time, tell them not to abuse powerful artifacts, then give them powerful artifacts to take back into the present. The only reason we had artifacts in the first place was to fight the legion and they’re gone now. Im not a fan of going back and retconning when dracthyr are going to get cool things in the future expac and beyond

They want it to be clear that evokers have come later into the story vs other classes. Also the asking to have shared class mogs with others is something that feels like wouldn’t even happen for the other 12.
