I cannot find the quest ‘Champions of Legionfall’ to continue the questline for Broken Shore. The forums would lead me to see that you need to do the Hero’s Weapon questline in your class hall.
Evokers do not have a class hall. So, what are my options? Do I have any? Or evokers just aren’t allowed to finish legion?
Evokers just can’t finish Legion.
The Broken Shore story gives you a class hall champion at one point
We do not have a class hall
Therefore we do not have a champion to be given
Therefore we can’t do the quest and are blocked from progressing
This will be an issue for every single class added from now on unless Blizzard add a class hall for them or a generic class hall.
Hopefully Legion Remix will add a generic class hall and simplified campaign for any classes that didn’t exist at the time (cough The Timeways cough)
Well, for Evokers, it wouldn’t take a lot to actually slap together a half-decent quest hall.
We already operate out of the Violet Citadel, right behind the Council. Chromie is right upstairs. All they have to do is give a few Evoker-Only quests to Chromie as we help her with the Timeways shenanigans caused by our being present at that time. The Weapon Quests can be Cavern of Times dungeons with Follower functionality added.
Any new classes added would cause the same Timeways issues, so this would become the default Class Halls for any new classes. The weapons dropped don’t even have to be anything super special. Maybe a nice new tmog look.
I have always thought the logical excuse to allow newly added classes post Legion was to have them assist the Bronze Dragonflight in ensuring the Legion is properly taken care of. For Dracthyr it is a no brainer, but it’s still appropriate for other new classes they add.
Overall, your suggestions are great and exactly how I would wish they be implemented. No class should be unable to engage with an expansions’ questline for reasons like that. If we are getting Legion Remix, I expect a change akin to this will be implemented at that time.
