Can everyone take a chill pill?

I mean im no one special. If i can do it, i believe in everyone else’s ability to do so.

Im not butt hurt at all lol. Don’t expect civil convo back when you open with snide remarks.

That was ALL you. I never even spoke to you and you came at ME with snide remarks. Don’t dish out what you don’t want back. And yes, you are butt hurt or you wouldn’t try to play victim.

Have a day.

Idk that depends, is said pill going to help things cool off with this excessive heat warning for the next few days where I’m at.

The same kind that suggests “they’re just words and don’t matter” but will whine about “muh freedom of speech!”

It isn’t exactly a delusion, but a severe intense focus that if the person could get their body to look a certain way - they’d achieve some goal or happiness. It’s one of the reasons why plastic surgery is so prevalent and profitable. It’s also one of the reasons why transgender care in young people is such a huge ethical problem in the healthcare field right now. Massively ethical. Support for trans people is a need, but the ethics of moving forward with actual body altering therapies or money making elective surgery is rife with landmines of who has the right to make these choices, and when are they old enough to do so safely? The arguments for total bodily autonomy are very rocky roads.

Nah, i was cordial. I don’t really care either way tbh. Again, your opinion of me or my view means nothing.

Have a day, or don’t. Either is fine with me.

I don’t do drugs.

Not touching that one lol.

I lied, I’ll divulge. If it’s something that my core foundation deems unacceptable am I required to support it? Or accept it? I am capable of not accepting it and having a discussion about it and my stance without degradation of them.

Very similar to total free speech.

I use both to argue the same point silly!

Because they are just words, therefore i should be able to say what i wish under my own volition.

Words can provoke actions. Ever heard the term “fightin’ words”?

Your logic is flawed.

Time to break out the Voight-Kampff test, might be an android.

If you think this is “cordial,” no wonder you believe it’s okay to hope people are dead:

That when I never spoke to you to begin with.

But hey, facts aren’t your strong suit. Bye.

It’s all in the eyes.

What was your reply? Did you fight back to what?

Either they have power worthy of protection by a constitutional amendment or they’re powerless and need no such protection. Silly.

It’s very much about being able to have civil discussions about difficult things that gets the most progress. In regards to supporting things we don’t stand for at the core: I also dealt regularly in clients of spousal abuse. I cannot tell you how many times I’d have an abused spouse go running back to their offender. Of course I didn’t support it, but I had to treat the whole problem - which usually included the victim having kids with the offender, the victim not having a source of income, not having a support group, etc.

In some cases, I wished I could walk away when the victim went back to the abuser, wash my hands of it. Their life, their freedom to make their own bad choices right? But then you got the kiddos showing up with black eyes and belt marks, which I also couldn’t stand for at my core.

It’s never cut and dry. There’s a lot of things about individuals we might not support or agree with. But again, we have to treat the whole problem or look at the whole person, not just stonewall eachother at the parts we don’t like about them. Which is where our social situation is right now. The us versus them thing, I’m right, you’re wrong. I win, you lose is especially devastating to our relationships as citizens.

Video games are just a cesspool of toxicity and nothing will ever change that. People use games to escape, ESPECIALLY people that are unhappy in life. Just know that they are hurting inside and trying to fill a void. The psychology of some WoW gamers would be fun to observe in a more scientific setting.
