You can pretty much already do this.
Try going full speed, then face towards the ground and press the ability that flies up.
You dragon loses all momentum and you glide slow for a few seconds then start falling slowly.
So just turn it into an ability for them it’s already possible.
I’m just going to make a video and upload it to youtube and show you how easy it is to hover on these things.
Hover isn’t just sitting up in the air waiting for something to spawn.
Please for the love of Warcraft no. No hover. That’s one of the best features of dragonriding. Just be patient and wait for the crap boring no clip sky swimming. Don’t ask to make dragonriding worse for those of us who love it the way it is.
The only people who are going to be this emotionally attached to a video game are the people of the forum.
To hover, our dragons would have to flap their wings like humming birds.
I think there should be something tied to engineering that will cost a lot of gold that can make you hover for a certain amount of time.
If it cost vigor.
I think the point of DRing is to stop the AFK hovering thing.
Well the upside is I’ve been meeting quite a few players sitting randomly on the side of mountains, we laugh about vigor and such.
Good times.
But yeah, a lot less bother if you hover.
