Can DK get a single defensive cooldown pls?

I don’t have a single defensive cooldown against physical damage classes like warrior, ww etc…

Would be cool if dk had one…

You do. It’s just a 3 minute Cooldown whereas their offensive Cooldowns are at most 2 minutes. Loads of fun was had by all.

oh yeah now i remember if armor if brought back to vet and maybe toughness were it increas’d the armor value from items by 10%

and oh hey blood presence
increasing Stamina by 20%, and base armor by 30%, and reducing damage taken by 10%. Blood Threat generation is significantly increased.

Blood Presence.
Death Siphon.
Conversion.
Death Strike not being terrible.
Any of the above.

We miss our immobile juggernaut identity.
Its not cool going from the juggernaut to the softest class in the game.

I still seethe to this day about them removing presense which the reason given was absolute bull. I went to actually dig up the explanation from Twitter which I remember caused everyone to to get p*ssed off.

His explanation was that “it caused too much clutter and negatively impacted off spec roles”. Like… wtf?! Where did that even come from? Who even said or thought that?! All ye had to do was remove the runic power penalty from them, that’s it! This even followed with people explaining how useful they were despite the penalty in pvp and pve.

Death Siphon and conversion were removed because people ******* about them :unamused:

Death Strike… there’s literally no reason at all…

All of this can basically be described as “we did this because. Now deal with it.”

If they ever bring back Blood Presence I hope they treat it like Warrior’s d-stance… meaning less damage taken in exchange for less damage done. Previously you’d be so resource starved in Blood Presence, just wasn’t fun to play. Reduce the damage output while in Blood but not the speed of the spec!

i had a idea that if they did and so many people moan and complain about it one way or another how would you feel if it was baked into veteran?

I’d accept either the flavorful and cool presences or a BIG buff to veteran of the third/fourth war. While it’s true that most specs nowadays deal magic damage in some capacity there’s no reason for a plate class to fall over to physical damage so easily.

othar than blood pres theres other stuff that can help DKs

toughness increased armor from items by 10%

Frost

you can use stuff from old like frigid dreadplate where casts from HB create a blow back coating your armor reducing damage taken and increasing armor by 1% stacking 10 times

theres also stuff you can do with RW where it makes us harder to hit while its active

we could bring back Acclimation when we get hit by stuff it boosts our resistance by by X stacking

They should just tweak purgatory.

Make it baseline across all 3 specs.
Make at an on use damage immunity, with some kind of penalty.

does it still kill you if you dont heal through it?

Will of the necropolis base line, unnerfed on BDK, but dmg specs, 40% hp - 15% dr would be pretty cool. Tired of seeing Will being the best pick for another expac.
